Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialists near Peterborough. Their site was one page of about sixty words, and the phone number wasn’t on it at all — for a business where nearly every job starts with a phone call.
Rebuilt as five pages, each targeting a different search. Whole site 72KB. I also found two different phone numbers on the old site, one digit apart.

Why me
It’s just me. That’s the point.
No account managers, no handoffs, no three-month timeline, nobody “circling back”. The person you meet is the person who builds it, and the person who replies to your email is the one who’ll be doing the work.

You get the number in writing before anything starts. If the job doesn’t change, neither does the price.

The site, the domain, the content. It’s all in your name and you can take it elsewhere whenever you like.

The things people ask me.
Isn’t that expensive? I’ve seen websites for £200.
You have, and some of them are fine. What you’re paying me for is that it actually gets finished, it’s written properly, it works on a phone, and there’s a person to ring when something breaks. If £950 is more than this is worth to you right now, that’s a completely reasonable answer — tell me and we’ll leave it.
Couldn’t I just do it myself on Squarespace?
Genuinely, yes — and some people should. The question is whether you will. Most business owners I speak to have a half-finished one sitting there from eighteen months ago. You’re paying me to have it done, done properly, and off your plate.
I’ve been let down by a web designer before.
That happens a lot and it’s usually the same story: no fixed price, no fixed date, and they stopped replying. So — you get the price in writing, the date in writing, you own everything at the end, and you deal with me directly throughout.
Do I have to write all the content?
No. I’ll draft every word and you edit it. This is the bit that stops most websites ever getting finished, so it’s included rather than an extra.
Who owns the website when it’s done?
You do — completely, once it’s paid for. The domain is registered in your name, the site is yours, and if you ever want to move to someone else I’ll hand it over without a fuss.
What if I want changes later?
Email or text me and I’ll do it. Most clients take a care plan from £35 a month, which covers hosting, backups, updates and a bit of changes time — so you never have to log in to anything. You can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Can you keep my existing domain and email?
Yes. Keeping your web address is normally straightforward, and I’ll sort the technical side. Your email carries on working throughout — nothing goes down.
How long does it really take?
Two to three weeks for most jobs, from the day I have your photos and details. The honest answer is that it depends more on how quickly you get things back to me than on how fast I build.
